ABOUT US

We are one of the largest flower delivery businesses in the UK that grow the majority of our own flowers.

Our journey began as a small family-run business selling freesia, grown in our Guernsey nursery, by post. With a reputation for exceptional personal service and for growing some of the highest quality flowers on Guernsey (no mean feat on an island where exemplary flower cultivation is rooted in history and the soil) the business, along with the range of flowers on offer, grew. Heirloom varieties, including alstroemeria, gypsophila, carnations and statice, bloomed in the now – expanded nursery – a fragrant sea of the flowers the islands of Guernsey and many a country garden have long been associated with. In 1999 we began selling online, making us the first Guernsey flower grower to do so.

Fast forward 30 years to a cabinet full of awards and nurseries abundant with our beloved freesia, picture-perfect sunflowers, gerbera and many more seasonal flowers that make up our wonderfully colourful bouquets.

Some things do not change. We still take the greatest care to deliver only the freshest, longest-lasting flowers that make memorable moments for our customers, new and old.

OUR FLOWERS

Classic Flowers is one of the largest flowers-by-post businesses that grows the majority of its own flowers. With three acres of glasshouses at our nursery in Guernsey, we cultivate and maintain the high quality of our blooms throughout the year. To add more interest to our bouquets, we also produce seasonal flowers too. Cutting out the middleman and buying straight from the grower ensures better value for our customers and a shorter field-to-vase time for our flowers.
