To control the quality and freshness of our flowers, we grow the majority at our nursery on Guernsey in the Channel Islands. To keep our bouquets abundant, we source additional flowers from trusted suppliers who share our passion and views on flower cultivation.

Fill a clean vase with fresh water. Dirty vases and water contain bacteria that can shorten the vase life of your flowers. Add the plant food included with your blooms as per the instructions on the packet. With a sharp knife, carefully cut each stem diagonally about 1” from the bottom and arrange in the vase. Trim any foliage to avoid it submerging in the water. Top up the water as required and remove any dead heads. Avoid positioning your bouquet in direct sunlight or close to a heat source as this can also shorten the life of your flowers.

We pick our flowers each day at the nursery ready for posting (usually) on the same day. This gives us more control over the freshness and you more time to enjoy your blooms. Freesia and alstroemeria last between 7-10 days, carnations from 10-21 days, and seasonal bouquets last between seven-15 days.
